Tuck Pence
The Northwoods’ own country-rock legend, singer/songwriter Tuck Pence is a beloved fixture at festivals and clubs throughout the Midwest for his ballads about love, love gone bad and love not happened yet, and humorous songs about Northwoods life (such as “Jack Pine Savage,” about a fisherman who does just enough logging to keep himself in bait and beer). Tuck’s unique style, described as “punk acid Western,” ranges from Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd. His CDs are Dreamin’ Life Away and Heritage, and New Memories is due out soon. A Rhinelander High School graduate, Tuck lives near Lake Tomahawk.
